Personal Information Protection and Privacy Policy<\/h1>
  1. Context<\/li><\/ol>

    Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc.<\/strong> is a company incorporated in Quebec that processes personal information in the course of its business activities.<\/p>

    This policy is intended to ensure the protection of personal information and to govern the way in which Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc. collects, uses, discloses, stores, and destroys such information, or otherwise manages it. It is also intended to inform any interested person about how Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc. handles their personal information. This policy also applies to the processing of personal information collected by Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc. through technological means. <\/p>

    1. Application and Definitions<\/li><\/ol>

      This policy applies to Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc., including, but not limited to, its officers, employees, consultants, volunteers, and any other person who otherwise provides services on behalf of Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc. It also applies to Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc.\u2019s website, as well as to all websites controlled and maintained by Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc.<\/p>

      This policy applies to all types of personal information managed by Urnes D\u00e9p\u00f4t Inc., whether it concerns its current or prospective customers, consultants, employees, members, or any other individuals, such as visitors to its websites or others.<\/p>

      For the purposes of this policy, personal information <\/u>means any information that relates to a natural person and allows that person to be identified, directly or indirectly. For example, this may include a person\u2019s name, address, email address, telephone number, gender, banking information, health information, ethnic origin, language, and similar information. <\/p>

      Sensitive personal information<\/u> means information for which there is a high degree of reasonable expectation of privacy, such as health information, banking information, biometric information, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, and similar information. <\/p>

      Generally speaking, a person\u2019s professional or business contact information does not constitute personal information, such as a person\u2019s name, title, address, email address, or work telephone number. More specifically, and for clarity, within the meaning of Quebec\u2019s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector<\/em><\/u>, and as of September 22, 2023, Sections 3 \u2014 Collection, Use and Disclosure \u2014 4 \u2014 Retention and Destruction \u2014 and 6 \u2014 Data Security \u2014 do not apply to information relating to a person\u2019s duties within an enterprise, such as their name, title, position, as well as the address, email address, and telephone number of their workplace. <\/p>

      These same sections also do not apply to personal information that is public by law<\/u>, as of the effective date of this policy.<\/p>

      1. Collection, Use, and Communication<\/li><\/ol>

        As part of its activities, Urnes d\u00e9p\u00f4t inc. may collect different types of information for various purposes. The types of information that Urnes d\u00e9p\u00f4t inc. might collect, their use (or the intended objective), and the means by which the information is collected are indicated in Appendix A<\/a> of this policy. <\/p>

        Urnes d\u00e9p\u00f4t inc. will also inform the individuals concerned, at the time of collection of personal information, of any other information collected, the purposes for which it is collected, and the means of collection, in addition to other information to be provided as required by law. <\/p>
